Hearts Hands and Hope

Since 2016

Transformation Without Service Is Just Philosophy.

By 2016, six years into my awakening journey, I understood something profound: consciousness work that stays inside your own head serves no one. True transformation has to move outward—into the world, into community, into the lives of those who need it most.

My wife Michelle and I co-founded Hearts, Hands and Hope with a simple but radical belief: that the most vulnerable members of our community—food-insecure children—deserved not just food, but a pathway to complete stability. What we built became something far greater than either of us imagined.

Today, Hearts, Hands and Hope serves nearly 20,000 food-insecure children weekly in Seminole County, Florida. We have delivered over 3.2 million meals since 2016. But the numbers only tell part of the story.

/ Phase 1: Food Security

We Are The First Phase: Food

Our food bag program addresses immediate hunger for children in Seminole County schools. Proven to increase school attendance, raise testing scores, and address the growing need for mental health support. Because a child who is hungry cannot learn, grow, or thrive.

/ Phase 2: Jobs, Education & Health

Breaking the cycle of just feeding them

Once food insecurity is identified, we move concurrently into Phase 2 – partnering with Orlando Health and CareerSource Central Florida to address mental health challenges and create pathways to employment. We don’t just feed families. We stabilize them.

/ Phase 3: Job Security & Independence

Food security is a byproduct of creating security

The final phase transforms recipients into self-sufficient community members with good-paying careers and stable homes. Over 300 families have achieved employment through our partnerships. This is how we break the generational cycle of food insecurity.

"This chapter of my life taught me that awakening is not a destination—it's a direction. And that direction must always point toward service. The greatest test of any transformation is what you do for others with what you've learned."

Why Service Became My Compass

There’s a moment in every genuine awakening when you realize the journey was never just about you. The meditation cushion, the consciousness work, the years of searching—all of it was preparation for something larger.

When Michelle and I founded Hearts, Hands and Hope, I wasn’t just starting a nonprofit. I was completing a circuit. The meteorologist who spent decades predicting atmospheric systems had finally learned to read the deeper patterns—the ones that connect human beings to each other, that reveal how individual transformation ripples outward into community healing.

Our Three Phase System isn’t just a program. It’s consciousness in action. It’s the belief that when you address the whole person—their hunger, their mental health, their economic stability—you don’t just feed a child. You transform a family. And when you transform enough families, you transform a community.

The same principles I teach in The Attention Compass—attention as navigation, storms as teachers, direction over destination—are embedded in every food bag we pack, every job placement we celebrate, every family that achieves independence.

Service didn’t distract from my awakening. It completed it.

The consciousness principles behind Hearts, Hands and Hope—attention, direction, transformation through service—are explored in depth in The Attention Compass.

Transformation isn’t just personal. It’s communal.
